All of the driers I have purchased have a plug, which you can remove and put the switch in. Also make sure you drain the compressor oil and refill with R134 compatible oil and add proper amount of oil in the system and evacuate the system before recharging. Good Luck


I put in the new R134 receiver/dryer which I purchased from the dealership today. The question I have is the A/C compressor will not engage now so I am not able to fill it with R134. There are two wires that used to plug into the old receiver/dreyer that now have nowhere to plug into. I've heard that these two wires should be soldered together. Is this why my a/c clutch won't engage. Please help!!! Thanks in advance for your help.
