Gale, The part that I bought was brandnew and listed for a 1990 e32 automatic. At a junkyard I also saw the same radiator installed in a older 735i. But the one installed in my car is wider and taller. 73 cm wide and aprox 68 cm tall...(Sorry, don't know the english metrics)

It doesn't have any extra features other then the auto tran cooler connectors on the leftside.

You saw "Rainman's" post below about unlocking & resyncing?

As for the radiator, is it possible they gave you an e23 735 radiator? Also, they could be different for the manual vs. auto trans but I would think that would only differ by the trans cooler lines.

Me again,

The problem here is this. The right rear door does not want to open. Not from the inside or from the outside....! I tried the procedure of locking the doors with the key on the door of the driverside (turn clockwise until you hear a double duk-duk sound and then open the doors on the passengerside turningfirst to the left and then to the right. This should resync all locks.. The first time it worked but after 3 retries it did't. ??

Anybody?

I'm also wondering what kind of radiator a 735ia from 1990 has. I'm asking this because I bought a new one from a company which is specialized in carparts and went on home to discover that the new one was smaller and narrower than the current one.. Does anybody know if there are dfferences of the model?

jerry
