Well, Straight Up...thanks, I'll have to update my memory banks with that bit of info. As I said, I thought the keyless entry/alarm was an option or an accessory that could be added on the 88 750iL...and didn't become standard equipment until 89. From now on I will just include the 88 along with the 89-91 with the "switchblade"remote.

and has the full factory remote alarm system with the sensor near the sunroof switch and the red button on top of the dash!
