REplacing Lower control arm (archive)

I was trying to replace the lower control arm today and made a big mistake.
I ripped the existing balljoint and could not get the control arm replaced. I need to drive tomorrow. Is it okay to drive with ball joint seeping grease out?
I will try to replace it tomorrow but in the mean time, I need to drive. I just couldn't get the bolts out for the strut mount to the control arm ball joints.
Stupidity I know.......
