It will be fine for short drives, especially if you are going to replace the control arm tomorrow. Just to be sure, wrap the balljoint with electrical tape and avoid driving through puddles. For the bolts at the bottom of the strut, soak these with WD40 or some other fluid overnight then try again tomorrow. An air impact wrench is the easiest but, if you don't have access to air tools, a six foot length of pipe on the end of a t-bar will do the job.

Alex

I was trying to replace the lower control arm today and made a big mistake.
I ripped the existing balljoint and could not get the control arm replaced. I need to drive tomorrow. Is it okay to drive with ball joint seeping grease out?
I will try to replace it tomorrow but in the mean time, I need to drive. I just couldn't get the bolts out for the strut mount to the control arm ball joints.
Stupidity I know.......
Thanks for your help
