The euro models use H1 bulbs and people have been using more powerful wattage bulbs for ages; the 70W should be of no problem. The electric system can handle it and so can the actual light assembly.

I have - in Jap cas surprise surprise - seen light assemblies that have melted with the use of 100W or so superpower bulbs but this really isn't a problem with the e32 especially if you don't go out of your way with the wattage.

Since we don't want to blind people with our lights, make sure your lights are aligned correctly and don't go for excessively powerful bulbs.

ps. Osram and I think Philips offer +30% lights that have new technology offering near 30% more LUX with the same 55W wattage, I bought me a pair of Osrams and will install them today.
