More questions on lights and rear bushings/tranny (archive)

Hey guys. Thanks for the help on the lights just a few posts below. now I'm wondering if it's possible to put H1 bulbs in the place of the 9006 bulbs. (any modifications? wattage/voltage compatibility?)
Also, if it's not too much of your time, I'm taking my car to the shop to replace the bushings on the rear end. But before I do so, I would like to know what exactly it is that will have to get replaced and how much it may cost to do so. Let me give you guys a description of the problem again:
The car has clunking sound on the rear end when turning. It swerves when you're stepping on the gas modestly (20-25mpg on the fuel eco.meter, doesn't matter what speed) and you have to adjust the steering constantly like playing with a loose doorknob.

I'm also in need of a transmission work. it' has no reverse and when it used to, i wouldn't get the 4th gear. back then when it was normal, it skips the normal 2-3 sequence and stays at the 2nd gear. Upon hitting 40 mph, it shifts to the 3rd. after that, there's no more shifting all the way to 6000rpm. but now, the forward gears are normal, but i don't get reverse. (haven't had reverse for like 3 weeks now.) Does this sound like i need a new transmission or could it be something else?

Sorry for the long post, I just want to make sure that I don't get ripped off. (i'm a college student, so...)
