Walmart sells the interdynamics kit for about $33.00. I have a friend who just did his Accura with the kit only, no changes of any components. He's happy and cold. We're in Tennessee and it's been known to get hot here. His Dad has also done several cars with the Walmart kit. All have worked great. He's in Texas.

Good luck. I'm torn between doing it cheap or "proper" on my '90 Volvo. I'd love to hear your results.

They recomended I buy a R-134 retrofit charging kit that will switch you from R12 to 134. The kit had all the 134 adapters for the service heads, oil charge and a couple of cans of 134 plus the hose for the cans. The kit is about $50.00 and made by Interdynamics, INC. (model #RKR-5)
