Had a similar problem when the weather turned cold. Ended up being the coil. When it cooled down the windings would shrink just enough to make it crank more than I liked. Replace coil and problem went away.

I got hardstart sometimes, but not everytime. Usually got it in the morning...have to keep clunking for like 6 7 seconds in order to start, but sometimes only jus a few seconds. I replaced the starter, doesn't help much. Is it possible I need a new battery or I need a fuel pump. Tried 2 cans of jetrons...still no good? ANy clues?
