Thanks for the info regarding my post yesterday.

How do the 7 series BMW's do for rust? Are they galvanized or treated in any way at the factory? Should I expect any rust on a 11 year old BMW or is that going to be a huge problem?

BTW....think I'm going to pass on the 89 with 240,000 klms, there are plenty more to look at and I am in no rush, but I am impressed with the luxury and quality of the car...still have not driven one, but do not expect tons of performance from the 735....I like it for the comfort, size, quality and style.
