YEEHAA Its Finally running: Now Instrument Cluster (archive)

For you that didn't see my earlier posts, I bought an 88 750 on Ebay had it shipped 2000 miles, started fine driving off truck, started once again and then NOTHING. My wife was getting REAL PISSED and I finally got it running today. Turned out I have a bad wire between the fusebox and one of the fuel pumps. (I hate electrical problems and am wondering why I bought an early E32) Now comes the instrument cluster. Speedometer, tachometer, parking brake light and EML light (goes out after starting) are the only things that work reliably. No led display at all although right side is backlit. Odometer has not worked for 7 years according to previous owner. Does anyone think I can get by with capacitor replacements or does the motherboard seem fried?
