Last night I finally got around to reflowing the solder on the mustard relay. I drove the car a few miles to test it (still got the ding, but both sides remained lit). I need to replace the two rear sidemarkers, so the remaining 'ding' is probably just these lights.

Anyway, this morning the wife gets into the car and it won't start! If you pump the pedal you get some very rough 'running', and blue exhaust with raw fuel smell. It has been getting quite cold here, so I think the lower temperature has something to do with it. I also wonder whether I could have disturbed something while fiddling with the ole mustard relay.

The reason I bring this up and ask for help is because I have the flu and am not thinking straight. I would like to get this car going for the wife, if possible, before I get better. (Alas, the Grand Cherokee is up on the blocks waiting for new CV joints and boots when I get better.)

The car - 90 735iL with 165k or so.

Thanks for your ideas.
