I would check that the cooling system has been bled properly, lack of hot air from the heater indicates to me that the matrix is full of air. I have no experience with the V12 but had exactly these symptoms on two occasions with a 735. Once the system was full of air after an emergency repair to a blown coolant hose. The other time the water pump was leaking and had managed to lose enough coolant to get the engine hot without emptying the header tank.Also check the coolant cap, if it's leaking, the coolant will boil at a low temperature causing overheating and venting of coolant.
