You didn't mention the year of your car, but most of the 750's have a recirculating tube (about the size of a vacuum hose) running from the water pump to the coolant tank mounted on the fire wall. Check to see if this is circulating by opening coolant tank cap while running (cold of course). You should see a small stream of coolant coming from hose inside neck. If so, you won't need to bleed system. Your lack of heater would be due to non-functioning heater valve -check archives.
You now need to look at other options regarding your hot running engine.
1-Thermostat possibly
2-Check to see if your electric fan in front of the radiator turns on when the a/c is on or when the engiine is hot.
3-Removing radiator and cleaning front fins helps quite often and also check fan clutch.
I had an overheating problem in traffic. I replaced thermostat, but it didn't help much. Pulled radiator and flushed and removed some debris with a little improvement. Finally replaced fan clutch and it made the difference. Temp gage sits a tick to the right of 12:00 all the time regardless of outside temp. The fan clutch appeared to be fine. It would shred cardboard when running, but apparently it needed replacing. Eurasian and other mail order places have the clutches for under $100.
Check prices and do the cheap stuff first.

Good luck,
