I was able to get a one size smaller standard hex/allen wrench in the holes and side load it enough to make it work without stripping the head. Might want to try it.

This seems trivial but I tried all allen wrenches of sizes metric and inches and still I couldn't find the correct fit for the anti-theft radio hex screws. These screws are the two located on left and right side of the radio and are covered by a hinged squarely plastic lid. I am starting to suspect that the size is special because of the anti-theft nature. Is that true or it is simply I hadn't checked default hex sizes thorougly?
