Hi James,

not really. It is just circumstantial. I started driving E32s about 8 years ago after a couple of 6 Cylinder Mercedes cars. And now I know a little more about them. So when I buy one I know quite well what to expect and how to check them. Mine is a absolutely standard (dolphin grey?) 750i with very few options: double glass, LAD, PDC, ASC+T, sunroof, el. rear shade, built-in 8W Nokia GSM phone, standard bottle tops in summer, dish type standard rims in winter. No chips, no sports muffler etc. 180k mls. I like the low profile of that car since I do a lot of business with government procurement people. So I don't want these people to think I am rich and not give me a contract. And since I was, or sometimes still are (active Reserve) responsible for most of the running gear of an amour division I have some knowledge regarding maintenance and repair of vehicles. Ekkehart
