problem as the m30s have. The banjo bolts on the camshaft oil spray bar have come loose and the number 1 lobe on the cam has starved for oil and gone flat. It has worn an ellipse down to round. On the m30 its always #1 that goes first. I would imagine its the same on yours after looking at the lubrication path. The hydraulic lifters should have been ticking for awhile however....At least this will be cheaper than most possibility's, Replace cam and possibly follower on a couple of lobes.
My E32 750iL has just been diagnosed with no compression whatsoever on #1. I have recently replaced the transmission and the car itself is in great shape. (Even with 155K miles)
Any advise?
