Welcome to my ongoing hell!

I'm in Nashville too and am sorting a Trans code problem on my '92 735iL. I've learned a lot with Kirt Koeller's help and would be glad to share.

Several people here had me start by making sure that the tranny M/S switch was clean. It is in an area to get pretty gooped up with coffe/coke, however that made no difference to me.

Have you had the codes read? Do you have a mechanic that can pull the codes?

Feel free to ring me- 327-1140 day time.

cheers-Jeff

Hello all,

Let me run down my recent OBC message. Parked the car outside when I got home from work. I was about to go to bed so I moved the car into the garage and noticed that the trans program message appeared. The only thing I have noticed the past couple days was a squeal from what I thought was the belts that I have been waiting to get looked at. Could this be related?

I researched that this might be caused by a battery getting low. It is starting to get cold here in Nashville. If I checked the battery voltage from the OBC would this give me an indication of the need to change the battery.

Thanks,

Sam 1992 735il
