I read from this helpful site about many repair procedures. I am about to replace the thermostat so I am learning as much as I can. I strongly recommend purchasing the Bentley, which I did and read with interest.
(bavauto.com 7 series 88 thru 94 B794 Orig. $104.95 NOW $94.95)
A couple of odd tools and parts: a 32mm wrench which I hacked from a bicycle tool this morning but have not tested on the fan clutch; two ATF cooler line seal o-ring which I purchased from the dealer. There could well be other odd things to look out for but for now I don't know.

Looking for some help tips please. I recently bought a 94 740 knowing that I would need to replace the radiator. However today I noticed the water pump is going also. (Coolant dripping from it). Also I'm replacing the serpantien belt. Can some give me a step by step or point me to a good write up on the web? Are you guys removing the hood before you get to work? Any help is welcome and aprieciated.
