Being a passenger at 150mph, AT NIGHT, IN THE RAIN, is one scary feeling!!! I don't feel one bit ashamed to admit that my palms were sweating the whole time!! I showed him pix of my 2- and 6 year olds, telling him that they expected me home on Friday! Didn't phase him!!!
And here's the best part: we actually PASSED A PLANE!!!! Albeit, something on the order of a Cessna 192, but we passed him like he was sitting in the hangar!!!(and he was about 150feet off the ground, and goin' forward!)
So, all that being said, what's your conclusion Henkka? Sounds like Christine is limited, since you were pulling easily to the 147/150mph threshold. Can't believe that the power band flattens out that drastically, that you ran out of 'stuff'.
Just wondering. Maybe one of these days, I'll be able to add my $.02 worth of data, based upon taking my 750iL over 120 mph. I would assume that any factory installed upper-limit is still effective on my car. I think I'll have to get out of Pennsylvania's hills to do that, though! My hat is off to you, Henkka, for pushing it, especially since the intent was 'for the moment' and not to be able to brag about it onthe board. BE SAFE.
