Don't assume that the heater valve will always fix this problem. I have the same symptoms, replaced the heater valve, and nothing changed. My guess is that my problem must be in one of the circuit boards or in stepper motor assemblies.

Hi

There have been numerous posts on this and other very similar problems. Try doing an archive search on "heater valve(s)". My exact same problem was fixed a couple of months ago by replacing the heater valve...an easy solution.

Good luck...

With the cooler weather change in Tennessee, I've begun to drive w/o A/C on. The outside temp is perfect for sunroof open and windows up. The vent settings are on cold, yet there is a stream of heated air disrupting my comfort.

Settings are:
A/C off
fan on medium-ish
AUTO button on
temp pucks at 63 degrees f.

the vent setting between the vents above the radio is set to blue.

Is it normal to have so much heated air remaining on the side window vents and the windshield defroster? It seems entirely too much, to the point of overheating the cabin.

tia- Jeff
