Hi all,

that is exactly what I see on my car. When the converter has locked 1000rpm correspond to 50km/h. So at 5000rpm the car will be 250km fast. Due to some offset (the regulations dealing with speedo tolerances are complicated to explain) you can reach from my experience 255-260 indicated ground speed. I have checked that a couple of times with a stopwatch (the German autobahns have "milestones" every 100m) so it is easy to do. I have calculated top speeds in the range of 252-255. Since I drive very much I use standard tires and rims so I don't know what effect 17" or 18" rims with the appropriate tires would have on the top speed. And even at top speed that I drive frequently at in summer I am very happy with the standard 4-piston calipers and the 324mm rotors. One thing I have to give Henkka credit for; the Fins are much better drivers, but we make the better cars. Ekkehart
