Stupid question: have you checked both sensors, front and rear?. Why don't you take a paper clip or piece of bus wire and shorten out the connector to see if this cures the problem. And BTW check, if the wires have not been cut by the rim, because they have not been routed correctly. I speek from experience. Did that on my wife's E30. If all that does not help it is the instrument cluster. Ekkehart
