If you live in the Cedar Rapids area stay away from J&J motorsports. $944.00 for inspectionII and he didn"t perform 3/4 of the required work. Case in point 3 weeks after the service the battery died due to having no water in it. This self proclaimed BMW expert had to resort to the bentley manual (brand new) for insructions on how to remove the rear seat.

I go to a place in Palo Alto, CA., called Palo Alto Bimmer, and they charge me $108.00 for inspection I and $335 for inspection II. I hope this helps.

Okay, I usually do my own service on my baby but I need to get an Inspection 2 service and I don't have time to spend 6 hours on my car.

Therefore, what is a good price for:

Inspection 1
and Inpection 2

If we get enough feedback, we can compare regional price differences.

I have been quoted $150 in California for Inspec 1 (non stealer).
I have been quoted $475 for inspec 2 (non stealer).

Thanks,

Tim
