The "X" numbers are plug/socket/connector numbers and the individual numbers (e.g. 1-26) are pin identifications within the sockets themselves. For example, you may notice there may be more than one pin #15 but not within the same connector - for example, there may be a #15-X649 and a #15-X601.

My passanger side mirror does not work

I have the wiring diagram from Bentley's book but am not sure what to make of all the numers (1-26) down the left side as well as x649, x601, x602

Any advice would be welcome
