I have a E32 735i 1988 with 190K miles on it. Well, I gotta tell ya this car will drive you crazy. What I got was, the a/c is a piece of crap.
I got hot air comes out while a/c is on. Also, the car will jerks like hell because of the stupid bushings. If I have money to get a new car, I would love to sell it right away. You really need extra cash because like shit happens all the time on my car. Like last month my bill was 800 bucks because of the stupid shocks bushings which cost me 300 plus the one of the window fell off from the bracket and the other one got weird noise while going up. Replaced the window run on the passenger side and window run and resistor for my driver cost me 500 bucks for the stupid [email protected]#in windows. So be prepared when u get this kind of car. Also, tranny is a major headache. I replaced mine and even though the car runs, the car never feel the same as before even I spent almost 3 grands for a rebuilt. That's all I can tell u my man. If u have extra cash, go for it. If not, stay away from dis money eater, cause' it can really kill your wallet.

Hi there,

I have always been in love with the E32. I will need a new car soon and I was thinking on buying one of those great cars. I drive 55k miles every year and have 3 kids. My questions are:

- Which one should I buy ? I've been told that the 750i are expensive to own but I can aford that of course. On the other hand perhaps a 735i would be enough...

- If buying a V12 which one ? i or iL ? Is the iL a lot bigger ?

- Mileage ? I have been looking some nice E32 and all of them had more than 100k miles. It is relly dificult to find a low mileage one...:-(

- Colour. I like black/black. Is that a *dirty* colour ? As I travel a lot, I don't have lot of time to wash/polish the my cars ( I really like to have my cars very clean).

- Should I avoid chipped or tuned cars ?

With best regards, Mike.
