I think 91-92 are virtually the same. If there are differences, it would be for more subtle items such as the style of the button for the transmission: A/M vs. S-E-M selection, and/or the style of the auto-dimming rear view mirror, which radio it has, etc. Also, individual models may have been optioned differently with features such as: phone, traction control, & the "LAD" load leveling rear suspension, but these are features more common to the iL (5" longer) model & the 750il. Interior trim & appointments should be the same: wood/leather, at least for the US models. When you zero in on one you're interested in, make sure all the little gadgets work such as heater & a/c funtions & all the vents, power seats, etc. Make sure the sunroof & all the window buttons work & the outside mirror motors as well. These little items can add up to huge expenses to repair. Many recent posts on what to look for mechanically: front control arm bushings, driveshaft, cooling, etc.
We've found a couple cars within our price range for 91-92. I've seen the 91, but are there any differences in interior or other features between the two model years?
Thanks for your time.
