Anyone repaired vinyl before? Have holes, need fix (archive)

I removed an ungodly ugly do-it-yourself monster speaker from the front passenger door today and had a hard time of it. This add-on was put in by persons unknown who fancied himself or herself an audiophile. Trouble is, when I bought the car the one on the driver's side had been removed already leaving me with this single tweeter/bass homemade job that was decidedly un-BMW in appearance.

Now to my question. When I removed the speaker unit, some of the vinyl on the door ripped slightly and the holes for the mounting hardware remain too. I wondered if anyone had experience with a good vinyl repair kit or system I could use to repair the holes and the tears.
