Have both. 750 is great for long road trips, freeway cruising, but too cumbersome for tight, multi-turning errands around town type driving. E28 M5 is a great all around car, fun to drive anywhere, the high reving engine sounds are fantastic, but I wouldn't consider it a around town family car. Our E28 535is fills that bill nicely.
