Don't know who makes the rotors for BMW. Bendix IMHO has a good reputation. ATE used to belong to ITT, was some time ago bought by Continental in Hanover (one of the largest and IMO best tire manufacturers in Europe).I have used ATE components with good results, matter of fact, calipers, master cylinder etc. are made by them. You can not make any mistakes if you buy OEM. For me, if the difference in price is like 10-20% I buy OEM. The rest is philosophy: I don't care about dust (pads), I don't want noise and I don't like fading at repeated stops from over 200km/h to zero. Ekkehart
