In Reply to: Any differences between 91-92 735i's? posted by Brent Mills on October 14, 2001 at 13:42:43:

In the 92's you have to have your foot on the brake to shift out of "Park" ...also the 92 has one touch down/up on all the windows not just the drivers. The 92 also uses the synthetic Pentosin Oil 11s instead of the CHF 7.1 in the 91. (that's only if you ot has LAD) The 91, up to 9/91 build date, uses an infrared keyless remote, if so equiped,...after that date the keyless remote uses a programmable chip. ASC, EDC, CD changer, heated seats, rear sun shade, ski bag, and phone were options that could have been ordered/added in both years. (my 91 "iL" has electric rear seats and my bro-in-law's 92 "iL" doesn' go figure on that one) That's all I can think of.

91 735iL

We've found a couple cars within our price range for 91-92. I've seen the 91, but are there any differences in interior or other features between the two model years?

Thanks for your time.
