I also have an alpine white E32 ('94 740i) and have color coded the bumpers, side strips and lower side skirts white. I will try to post photos later. I believe the look is much improved and have never regretted the decision. However, you will want to address the black flexible rubber strips located at the bottom of each door. The body shop that did my work said they didn't think a paint would adhere well and thus I left them black. I would try to do some ground work and see if someone had a flexible paint for these pieces as they do stand out too much for my taste. One warning, I lived in Wichita, Kansas and traveled frequently to Omaha, Nebraska when I had this done (Laguna CA now;) and had problems with the gravel both states spread on their roads in the winter. My front skirting under the front bumper definately needs to be repainted as should the front bumper. Hopefully this is not an issue where you live.
