in March 2001 just bought new front rotors & pads from BMW dealer. Yesterday after ONLY ONE!!! emergency braking (from 100 mph to 40) they are warped.
Original rotors from BMW are f*c**ng sh*t, need advice what combination of rotors/pads prooved good?

unfortunately, all 750 rotors are as you described. I got 12,000 miles from my first set, using metalic pads which were far too hard for the rotors. I switched to standard organic pads for the next set and so far have over 20,000 miles with only a slight "flutter" warp which is occassionally noticeable on light braking. Still, only a partial solution. 750 rotors are too thin and warp easily. Sorry. You can get them for about 60/ea at Bavarian Autosport, which I'm sure is cheaper than what the dealer charged you. The replacement is incredibly easy, since the front hubs are sealed and there are no wheel bearings to mess with. Its a 1 hour job. I'm sure the dealer charged you 8 hours labor anyway.
