Check the front sway bar links which attach the end of the sway bar to the strut. The balljoints loosen over time and create the noise you have described, especially when turning corners. Grab the sway bar link in the middle and wiggle it (technical term) back and forth. If there is any free play, the link needs to be replaced. New links are around $25 each (one required for each side) and can be replaced in less than thirty minutes.Alex
I drive a 90 735i with about 140k miles on it, and after I drive it around for awhile it starts to make a clicking noise towards the right front wheel especially on turns. The noise comes and goes. Its something that rotates because the speed of the clicking increases with the speed of the car. The noise was worse about 4 months ago, but that was the driveshaft and I had that replaced, so its not that. Any help or clue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
