oil leak 88 735i (archive)

I'm chasing an oil leak. It appears to be coming from above the starter. Is there any place above the starter other than the valve cover that oil could come from? I see evidence of it on the rear intake bolt but it's real hard to see above that even with a mechanics mirror.
