I would have the alternator checked in the car, while it is running, do not remove it to find out,. If it is bad the beauty of Boscsh is you can replace the regulator and brushes as a single cheap piece easily. If the charging system is good and the battery can hold a load test. Look for the obvious lights on , trunk light on,visor light, kind of stuff.

What is the condition of the battery why did it die? if it takes the charge and starts and dies in a few days then you may want to check the the alternator at thsi age if the alternator has not been rebiult it might be time to do so, getting the alternator out is no easy task but it can be done.
