If its the chime itself, on my American car its located to the left of the steering column just above the brake pedal. There is a round grill made into the black plastic under-dash cover. It would be just above your left shin when driving. To replace it you may be able to loosen the screws on the plastic shield and reach it, but you will probably have to remove the shin guard, etc. Remove wood trim, 4 screws to the shin guard, one screw to the front of the console to remove the carpeted piece, the the plastic piece. Wiring harnes plugs into the back of the chime. Its about a half-hour job.
I don't know about the relay, etc.
Good luck.

Hello all,

I have a problem with the light switch. I hear that the british lights have a different switch and headlight adjustment control, where is that control located? How easy is it to install one?

Also the chime has stopped singing when necessary..is it a relay that needs changing ? and if so...where is it?

Thanks

Theo
