Help!

My manual doesn't get here until Wednesday, and I can't wait...

I'm doing a water pump replacement which it seems requires the removal of the crankshaft pulley/toothed engine position wheel (or whatever you call it...). There are 8 bolts around and a huge nut going into the center line of the crankshaft. Another post implied that only the 8 bolts had to come off, but it doesn't look like it to me.

What's the trick on removal of the big bolt? Is it like Porsche/Audi where you fix the crank with a special tool?

Or am I wrong in needing to remove the large bolt?

Thanks in advance,

Norm
