I paid £35 for an Exide HEAVY Duty battery, 90AMPS. It's the largest available to the car, as the standard is 88amps! I know it's not much more than the original, but every little extra helps in the cold mornings when the heaters/Demisters/wipers/Headlights are all required During the winter.

Hope this helps

I have a 88 750il with I believe to be a dead battery. I attempted to jump it off, it sounds likeit almost wants to start, but does not. I am putting a battery charger onit this evening, the try to start it againin the morning. Are there any other steps I can take? And if I have to, how much for a battery? Thanks in advance...
