Pentosin CH 11S is synthetic (used after 9/91 in North America). Since you have a 730i I'm going to assume that you are not in North America. First I would check the cap/top of your power steering reservoir to see if the type of fluid you're to use is engraved or on a sticker. Pentosin was generally used in the "iL" versions that have the LAD (self-leveling) rear suspensions.

Just topped up power steering with COMMA Power steering fluid...theres no mention of pentosin on the bottle have i got to get it out asap. 1989 730i.
