where was the ground?
i checked the battery and i get a reading 0f 11.39V after turning the key to the start position i got about 5V off the alternator and the battery at 9V.

Had a similar problem a year ago. Fought it forever and it ended up being a loose ground connection. Locate alll of the ground connections, clean and reconnect them and I'll bet it will fix your problem.

Last night while driving home from work all my lights went out (turn signal, headlight, fog dash, and instrument cluster) my radio was out after i got home car wouldn't start still wont, the doors open up fine no problem, if i get a jumpstart the cr will start otherwise nothing. is this the alternator and where can i get the 140 amp alternator?
