Moisture in trunk (archive)

I've noticed that the trunk of my 735 seems to be really moist all of the time, actually more like wet. When I touch the carpet it's soaking... I've dried the carpet and all the moist I could find back there, but it would just come back in a couple of days. Is this just a common problem with the 7 series, or is there something that needs replacement?
