Hi Steve

well it would be a start ,but check by removing the oil filler cap while the engine is running,
it should staal or run very poorly, as the engines run with a negative pressure in the crank case. and this would be cheaper option first. I think the pcv is at the back of the engine under
the expansion tank. can someone confirm this for steve.

ps are you going to make it for the meeting

thanks

My 750's done 220,000 miles.
It's smoking a lot.
Should I try replacing the pcv valves,
then try the oil seals,
or for this sort of milage should I be looking at a rebuild or even a replacement second-hand block?

Surely at 220K it can't go on for much longer without some sort of rebuild?

Cheers,
Steve
