Your trunk should be dry. A couple of tips..
Pull the matt up and remove the spare tire and see
what level of moisture you have in the spare tire
well...chances are..quite a bit. What you can
do if you are not clasterphobic is to get in the
trunk with a flashlight and everything removed,
close it and have your wife or g/f take the hose without spray nozzle and really soak the entire periphery of the trunk lid. Many ways to get water in the trunk from the rear window, trunk seal to the rear lights. Hope that helps.

I've noticed that the trunk of my 735 seems to be really moist all of the time, actually more like wet. When I touch the carpet it's soaking... I've dried the carpet and all the moist I could find back there, but it would just come back in a couple of days. Is this just a common problem with the 7 series, or is there something that needs replacement?
