I'm burning a quart of oil every 1200-1300 miles. What does this sound like? Crankcase ventilation valves? Is it an easy DIYer, and do you replace or clean them? TIA.
The volume control valves are about $28 each from the dealer and the check valves are about $12 each. You can probably clean the the check valves. It is no a difficult job. I would suggest replacing the grommets (about $2 each) that hold the volume control valves in the valve cover. If you replace them remove the throttle control motors. The rest will be easy.
