seems to be just a great deal..particularly since
it is a real quality item...wouldn't consider
Ansa or Bosal. Another option would be to eliminate the CAT. Michigan has abandoned
its emission testing..thank god..so that may be
another way to get a little more grunt and reduce
backpressure not to mention weight slightly.
The Eberspaecher is about half the price a Supersprint is. Many think because its Stainless
it will outlast an Aluminized carbon steel muffler. Casing may, but internal baffling can
blow out pretty quick which incidently Borla's
has a reputation for.
Thought your initial choice was a good one.

$414 for the resonator, $458 for the rear exhaust. I'm not sure if they need any additional hardware to mate up to the stock cat. or to join the resonator to the muffler.

BMP is 1-800-648-7278 (Tyler, TX)

I bought the Eberspaecher's for $370 total, delivered, for both from Zigmund's (deliberate typo). As you can see, the cost savings was a strong persuader.

One other option you might consider is to remove the resonator entirely & just go with straight thru-pipes to the muffler, or likewise, keep the resonator & delete the muffler. Both options have been tried on the e34 board with 535i's with pleasing results, Tim Collins I think(?). With mine, I thought keeping it quiet might save a ticket or two. I also like having a sleeper.
