Yes, as MacGlashan stated it is made of plastic. However, it is NOT a skidplate (obviously, if plastic), it is a splash sheild designed to keep the belts and alternater dry when running through puddles/rain.


I was wondering if 91 750IL are suppose to have some sort of protective cover in the front bottom of the eingine (Belts, oil pan, so on..). It looks like there are some holes for the protective skid plate to be mounted but mine is missing that.
Do you have yours?
