Check the battery voltage & charge state -ABS is a heavy current user when it fires up that big modulator motor, and so monitors the batt voltage all the time - never knows when it'll be needed, right?

If not a suspect battery, I'd check the earth connections too... do you have a Bentley manual? That shows the earth return curcuits - I'd guess one is shared somewhere between ABS & rear defogger.

Does anyone happen to know why when I press the rer defroster button (turn on) that my ABS warning light turns on! Turn off the rear defrost and the abs warning turns off. Help!
