I think it would be more complicated because you would have to change computers, fuel filters and lines and all that good stuff. The 750 has two of everything because it's basically two 6 cylinders welded together. You would have to rip out a lot of stuff and change it to a one engine setup. Also, the 750 has the electric throttle (i think). My 735il has a cable controlled throttle and the 730 might also. Might cost a lot to change all of the stuff needed.

In my country it is difficult to find used parts for a 750 engine but plenty for the 730. I am therefore contemplating on buying a half 730( USD1000) and putting the stuff into my 750. I hardly exceed 60mph (strict laws) and therefore it would not make any difference. Selling it would be a problem as the 750 does not carry a good resale value.

Is the job just puuting the 6 potter in or is it more complicated than that. I am ready for the challenge.I have done chevy conversions in early days and was easy.
