Most brake rotors coming from the US and Europe are manufactured to the same spec as the OEM. The liability of selecting different designs and materials does not justify the departure from the "authorized" design by aftermarket producers. China is a different story though... laws regarding this type of thing are few and those that exist sometimes not followed. I've had good luck with the Zimmerman rotors from Zygmunt. These are cross drilled at the factory and are only $54 each... I agree with Rich on this one... the $40 savings may not be worth the risk of the experiment... although my guess is that if you did find the Chinese rotors to be defective, the failure would probably be premature warping as opposed to an all-out loss of brakes.Kevin
I found some new front brake rotors from a local supplier
for 92 750il that are manufactured in China--
anyone had any experience with these? They're $34 each.
